Over eight years ago, my husband and I were expecting our second child and living in a two bedroom apartment in Franklin.  We didn't know the first thing about purchasing a home and had convinced ourselves we just could not do it.  I had met Laurie through mutual friends and she offered to help us without hesitation.  Being first time buyers, we were clueless to the process or even where to begin.  She took us by the hand and led us down the  most wonderful easy road to purchasing our first home!  She was the definition of professionalism.  But she was also a very real and special human being, for she was just as excited and thrilled the day we closed on our home as we were!  She was with us through everything and not only became our realtor, but our friend.

Many wonderful memories were made in that home.  but in late June of 2008 we received devastating news that my husbands entire sales division was being laid off.  He was offered a job in Texas; therefore, we had to relocate and fast.  The market was in a spiral downward and we were in a panic.  We had to sell a home in Tennessee AND purchase one in Texas.  My husband was already there and working.  Who did we call....our Laurie!  I cannot even BEGIN to tell you how amazing she was and how I just stood in awe of how she took control of the situation.  No panic, no negativity; again, took us by the hand and led the way!  She not only was handling the home improvements, the marketing and the sale of our home in Tennessee, she found us a wonderful realtor in Texas, worked with her, the closing company and us on the purchase of our new home in Texas!  She never hesitated in any aspect of the whole process!

Our home sold in less than three months!!!  We closed on our new home in Texas on September 26th.  Her dedication to her clients is second to none!  Her professionalism is unmatched.  But with all that said, her friendship and genuine concern for our entire family, including my two boys, was priceless!  We cannot thank her enough and we can assure you, if we ever find ourselves looking to move back to Tennessee, there will be one phone call made and that will be to Laurie.

In addition, Laurie is extremely well educated in the real estate business and the housing markets where she has listings. I find her on the Internet looking for ideas at all times of day and night. She takes courses and seminars to improve her expertise so that she can stay at the cutting edge of her profession. Some examples of this are the photographer I mentioned earlier, to the closing attorney who spoke in “even I can understand this” language and has the highest ethical standards, to choosing and training an assistant that anyone would be impressed with for his thoroughness and professionalism.
